2022 Wingebellup Red

The 2022 Wingebellup Red draws its name from the meandering road that splits the Swinney property. This blend is made up of 174 Clone Syrah (60%), Grenache (40%) and Bushvine Mourvèdre (10%).
All varieties were picked and fermented separately. Fermented wild and soaked on skins for 21 days, each variety was basket pressed to a mixture of new (25%) and seasoned French oak puncheons and aged for 18 months.

Bright, lifted aromatics of red fruits, blackberry bush, fennel seed and spice jump out of the glass. This wine is light on its feet, with dusty tannins and refreshing acidity.
